Liar analysis of metal hammer music magazine

L-the mast head of this magazine is very bold, sharp and immediately draws your attention to it.the sharp edges of it and the metallic colour could represent a hammer which relates to the name
The main image fills the page and is a shot of the band "avenged sevenfold"; the image is clear to see and isn’t overcrowded by the mast head or the tease line, the tease line has a deck of one and is quite small in relation to the magazine which could make it hard to read
The house style is very dark colours which match the genres style and it uses black and red to highlight the text make it clearer to see
The thumbnail images on the contents page show what is included on the other pages with small captions of the page numbers which helps the reader to find the pages easily, the images are clear and easy to see and relate to the contents lines. there are also a couple of splashes on the contents page that relate to the articles
The price is indicated next to the bar code which is £4.25 which is a lot more than what my original price was almost double this is most likely due to the fact that this magazine is released monthly where as kerrang is released weekly so they can charge a higher price for theirs, the bar code is standard and located in the bottom corner of the front cover which makes it easy to find and locate the price and issue number
there is no evidence of a competition on these pages most probably there isn't one in this particular magazine neither is there a free gift because the readers are probably more interested in the magazine its self
the main article of this magazine does relate to the main image because the main image is of the band the main article relates to
I- this magazine is published by future plc,i am going to use future as my publishers because they have published a lot of big magazines and it seems more professional to use a publisher that is already recognised as people may trust it more
I-this magazine is dealing with the death of a band member from avenged sevenfold this is showing that it will deal with such moral values like death
A- the target audience of this magazine is from around the ages of 15-25 as they are the most likely the listen to the music it writes about, the magazine is not aimed at other age groups such as the elderly and middle aged because they are not interested int his particular genre and wouldn't be able to relate to the articles in the magazine
R- they represent there target audience quite accurately and stereotypically because this is what the readers are use to and they represent the bands quite positively because if they didn't  the magazine wouldn't be sold and no one would listen to the music
