this is the final draft of my contents page it is quite better now that the images and text are in place it now looks more like a professional contents page , the images are quite clear except the editors image which was intentional as it is a feature in the magazine and using the drop cap on the editors letter makes it look a lot better.
this is the updated version of my double page spread, the article is quite short, the images are quite clear and i have removed the background because they fit into the page better and give it a better look i have added captions around the image telling the reader who each bad member is and what they play. the titles in the left hand corner are similar to kerrangs because i have tried to emulate their magazine and this has proved to an effective set up.the skyline at the top notes what this page is called and the magazine logo and title.
this is the final draft of my front cover i think it has worked out well the texts and the themes look good . my masthead is the first thing your eyes notrice the banner headline is more vibrant now because of the highlighting box and so do the other head lines the images are quite clear and the information around the barcode seems to noticable and you know where to look for it when you pick it up or look at it.
this is the final draft of my front cover it looks a whole lot better than when i started but that is because i have refined my ideas and changed the style slightly. the masthead now appears to be the first thing your eyes come to i have refined the font styles so that they correspond with professional styles so that it looks like a real magazine the banner headline now stands out more and matches the other titles the font of the banner headline is really grabbing and this is exactly what i wanted.
this is the eigth draft of my music magazine i have almost finished it i am happy with the results it looks fairly crisp and clean it is clear and easy to read and the masthead stands out more than in previous drafts the person on the front of the cover is photographed well and it suits the magazine.
i have altered my previous draft and i now feel as though it looks better . i have started to add more headlines and i changed the splash on the competition so it is still noticeable but detracts a bit so that its not the only thing you notice i also altered the tagline so it is now completely readable
