liiar analysis

Liiar analysis of GX magazine Grimsby institute magazine
l-the mastheads are clear and very bold which makes them stand out on the magazine
The main image on the front cover is a cartoon style pair of people against a brick wall which doesn’t really show us what’s in the magazine but does make it more attractive
The colour scheme is nice and bright and very bold but there seems to be no house theme running through this college magazine
The thumbnail images do illustrate other articles but again there should be a caption or maybe an arrow to which story it relates to
There is no price indicated on this magazine and for me as a reader this would put me off buying it there is also no barcode
There are some tease lines at the bottom of the page which are much better than the east riding magazine because they give more of a description but could do to tell us which page the story is on
There are no competitions or free gifts in this magazine but I don’t think this would bother people buying this particular magazine
The images on the front cover don’t seem to relate to the main article which isn’t helping the magazine
i-this magazine is being produced for the Grimsby institute
i-the moral values this magazine covers are subjects like the student budget, campus life, childcare, are divorce this magazine is covering a good range of moral values but could include things like drugs and quitting smoking
a-the target audience for this magazine is the students of the college and maybe students wishing to come to the college
r-this magazine is representing the Grimsby institute quite positively because it has made an attractive college magazine and some good stories in it.
